Aislings 1 and 2 by puchiko2 Aislings 1 and 2 by puchiko2
Last night I was lurking on /co/ and decided to do a bit of sketching (on a Secret of Kells thread, of course :) )

So here are a couple little doodles i made. One person asked for a sketch of Aisling in one of her earlier concept desgins, and how could i not oblige? (this is why there is a girl with a tail)

might do some more eventually, hopefully something more complete later

That's just darling. I love how you can see the differences between the two styles as well, and yet they both have that mischievous smile. Did you do this tablet? If you did, I envy you.

Lucky. I've had a tablet for years but haven't gotten the hang of it. >_>;; I'm too stuck on hand drawing.

its good to practice with it. for a year i didn't even touch my tablet. but when i got the hang of using thick lines, it was like using the perfect pencil/pen combined!

Yeah, I have a feeling I'll need to look through a tutorial for it. I know there's one on the wacom website, so I'll see. It would certainly help me from accumulating so many papers of sketches. ^^

i dont think you'll need a tutorial, tbh. just make sure your disc is installed correctly (so that photoshop/your art software) can read it and translate the pen pressure to line width. if you don't get variating line width, its not installed correctly

Ah no worries, it's installed, it's just..well untouched. I'll admit, I'm a bit scared to try it out, I keep thinking the pen with explode or something if I don't do it right. Silly Lotte. :XD: However, I would like a guideline to get me started, and I think I found a good one online.
